Happy Thursday all!
I passed on WIP Wednesday yesterday because I didn’t want to show you another fuzzy pink block. I will save it for a FO Friday.
I thought instead I would share another goodie I got last weekend.
It is 2 skeins of alpaca wool from Maple Lane Farm in Chilliwack, BC (no website). Those of you who read my Blog week Day 1 post will remember my rant about wool and how usually I am not a fan, and would normally not spend the money on the softer, more delicious wool. That being said, I had told my BF that I was interested in finding some yarn that I wouldn’t normally find here in the city, and when we happened to stumble upon a little ‘goodies sale’ selling skeins of this, he obliged me and gifted me with some <3. I should mention it was 40% off ๐ I decided to get two 100g skeins, 1 of each colour.
The only problem I have now, is what do to with that darn stuff… HELP!
An adult sized monkey touque for moi!!! ๐ (http://www.allyssite.com/2011/04/monkey-mouse-hats-for-baby/)
Or… Socks! Or a purse with funky wooden handles! Or a sweater!
– Check out these food patterns I found while looking for the monkey hat… http://hyenacart.com/Fair-Trade-Family/index.php?c=12
Socks are a great idea!!
That link is very cool, I love the eco-aware aspect of it.
So no monkey hat for me ๐ฆ
Haha, well not with this particular yarn, but I’ll add it to my list ๐
