G if for…

Graduation!!!

Last Wednesday my bestie convocated from Simon Fraser University, and of course I was on hand to witness the wonder that she is.

Here we are, happy as all heck. It was a little chilly, and a little long, but she is very worth it. Plus I brought along something to keep me entertained ๐Ÿ™‚ Way to go bestie!!!

How did I keepย myself busy, you ask? I worked on the baby blanket. It was great because it kept my fingers busy and legs warm. It was COLD… although the school IS up a mountain… but it’s June. I made great progress on it, and as you’ll see in a couple days, I am ready to start the border and git’r’done. The recipient isn’t due until late September but I don’t know when her maternity leave starts and I want to make sure I can give it to her in person.

Lastly, yesterday was Father’s day, and my family made sure to let our dad know just how super duper he is. Happy Father’s Day!

  1. I’ll have to remember to take my blanket that I’m knitting when I go out in the cold! Your blanket is looking good so far by the way! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks Charlotte! I’m really glad I thought to bring it because it was much colder than I thought it would be. And a great way to pass the time ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. What a sweet picture of you both. And I love that blanket.

  6. Congrats to bestie!! I’m a little jealous of the cold weather. We haven’t had that here since February!

    • Thanks Sara! I would trade with you in a nano-second! It has not been anywhere near normal temperature here and it’s awful! People keep saying we’re trending to have “a very hot summer” but I a big doubter of that atm!
