FO Friday, Number 12

Well, the fact that I have FOs to share today feels like a miracle! I have been a busy girl this week, and will be all weekend, so the things I wanted to get done sort of got done.

First up, the first August Square for my GSS (remember that white circle from WIPW?). The pattern is Framing a Flower from Aurora, One Crochet Day at a Time. Her patterns are great, I have been using them alot lately. My gauge was a bit off so I reworked the last round using triple crochets instead of doubles, it’s not perfectly square but once sewed together it’ll be fine.

Next up is this beauty. The pattern is One Heart Square from Beverly. I have made this one before, I love how easy it is. The recipient is a fellow teacher down in Florida, the package goes out Monday, can’t wait for her reaction! I think both the blue and purple yarn on the main body of both squares is Vanna’s Choice. I like the smooth texture and yet it’s still worsted.

This is where the fingerless gloves SHOULD be posted – BUT – I haven’t gotten around to finishing them up. The other problem is that I haven’t heard back from my swapner yet, so I am kinda afraid to finish it up and not have anywhere to send it to. That also goes for the amigurumi. I sewed the face on, I need some eyes and then I can stuff him and make the legs. He’s gonna be so cute, if the swap doesn’t work out then I’ll have a cute little buddy to hang out with.

My goal is to finish up the fingerless and maybe post them on Squee Sunday.

Happy Friday everyone! You can see the other FOF’s here, XO.
